The Basingstoke Local Plan Update is a framework used to guide future development and planning decisions in the borough until 2040. It includes strategy for what types of development will take place and where. The proposed Basingstoke Local Plan Update is under consultation now and has highlighted a number of sites close to North Waltham for large scale development.
