There will be two changes to the Management Committee of North Waltham Village Trust effective from the next Annual General Meeting in January 2021:
– Gus Macdonald will be standing down as a Trustee. Gus has been a very active member of the team for many years, particularly concerning the planning and implementation of the annual Big Lunch where he has been responsible for stocking and organising the beer tent. His contribution to the work of the Village Trust is greatly appreciated;
– After 7 years in the roles, I will be standing down from the administrative functions of Chairman and Secretary. I will however continue to support working parties and maintenance activities in the Meadow and Pavilion.
We do need to recruit one or two new Trustees and members of the Management Committee. We would particularly welcome support from younger members of the village community (i.e. below pensioner age!) who, directly or via their children, are active users of the facilities in Cuckoo Meadow and the Rathbone Pavilion.
