7:30pm Thursday 20th March 2025
at the Rathbone Pavilion, North Waltham
Our final talk should appeal to many of us in the village – it will be all about hedgehogs, their habitat and habits, their breeding and their lives and how we can best assist them to thrive whenever we come across them.
Due to ill health, we have a change of speaker for this talk: I’m delighted to say that Dr Philip Baker from Reading University will now be joining us. Dr Baker is a Lecturer and Programme Director for BSc Zoology with a special interest in conservation. He lectured at the 2024 International Conference for Hedgehog Professionals and is on the Scientific Advisory Panel for The Mammal Society.
As usual, the evening will start at 7.30pm prompt with a £3 entry fee and an interval for refreshments (for a donation please) – cash or card. We will also have a raffle to boost income! All proceeds to North Waltham Village Trust. I hope you can join us!
