Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council have issued a temporary road closure notice for Maidenthorne Lane. The closure is to enable Openreach works to be carried out including access to underground structures, cabling and jointing in order to restore customer service. Maidenthorne Lane will be closed from the A30 Winchester Road to Barley View and a diversion will be in place along Up Street, Yew Tree Road, Popham Lane and A30 Winchester Road and vice versa. The order will come into effect on 5th August 2019 for one week, although the closure is expected to last 2 days.
