Thank you to all those who came along on Sunday 14th November to help prepare areas for planting of the Woodland Trust saplings, in support of the Queen’s Green Canopy.
The group focused on an area for hedge planting, ready for saplings to be planted in the near future.
As the date coincided with Remembrance Sunday the group joined St Micheal’s Church Act of Remembrance at 11am.
After much digging the group enjoyed a well deserved cuppa and a biscuit!
More news will follow on planting of the hedge saplings and trees.
