Pond Willow Tree
As part of our ongoing monitoring of the Willow’s health, an independent Arboricultural Survey has been conducted. The survey has confirmed that whilst the tree is in a good physiological condition, it is in a poor structural condition. The report notes that the deterioration and decay is progressing but that with additional pruning works to reduce the weight, the tree can be retained in the landscape. As such the Parish Council have submitted a planning application for a crown reduction and trim of the tree in a bid to keep our Willow thriving for a bit longer and to reduce any risk.
