Calling all children and young people of North Waltham – enter our pebble-painting competition to mark the Coronation of King Charles!
To take part, decorate a large pebble/stone, reflecting the Coronation in some way, ideally including the words: ‘CORONATION 2023’ and ‘NORTH WALTHAM’. Use paints or felt tips!
Bring your painted pebble along to the marquee at the Street Party with a piece of paper giving your name and age. The pebbles will be on view and judged during the afternoon then assembled into an open air display by the bus shelter. (But you can take your pebble home if you want to.)
Good luck finding a suitable pebble! If you can’t find one in your garden or walking round the village, you could try local craft shops or the Internet. Bigger pebbles will give more scope for your design!
