Another SSE contractor has been in touch to say that the work to replace the transformer’s wooden support posts adjacent to the Cuckoo Meadow car park is back on – now starting 4th May. Affected houses in the village should only have short periods of disruption (~ 15 minutes) when they connect and disconnect generators.
SSE will be dropping off warning letters to affected houses.
